Community Wellness Requirements

As a new student, you will participate in community wellness activities that build connection, promote community well-being and help you learn more about health and wellness resources and programs. Some activities begin before you arrive, while others take place a few weeks into the semester. Failure to complete these requirements will result in a Conduct Hold, hindering class registration in addition to participation in Fraternity and Sorority Affairs, Athletics, studying abroad and more. 

Below are the activities in which you will be required to participate. (Please note, the "Be Well SU: Staying Healthy at SU" presentation replaces the Be Well Expo for students enrolling into the spring semester.)

  • Due Jan. 11 or Jan. 22: "Staying Healthy at SU" presentation
    Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, 3 p.m., Stolkin Auditorium
    Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2020, 7 p.m., Eggers Hall, 032
    As a friendly reminder, students are required to bring their SU I.D. to swipe into the event.

  • Due Jan. 14: "Speak About It" presentation
    Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020, 8 p.m. 
    Falk College, Grant Auditorium
    As a friendly reminder, students are required to bring their SU I.D. to swipe into the event.

  • Due Feb. 3: Online EVERFI Training Modules
    Three online EVERFI training modules, centered on sexual and relationship violence prevention, alcohol and other drugs, and diversity, equity and inclusion. For additional instructions on accessing EVERFI and navigating modules visit the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) webpage.
