Shared Reading Program

The Syracuse University Shared Reading Program provides each new undergraduate student with a book selected specifically for that academic year. Programs, events, and courses scheduled throughout the fall and spring terms incorporate the themes of this book into the students' academic and co-curricular experiences. Through this shared experience, the newest members of our community can begin to appreciate and value the vibrant intellectual community that is Syracuse University. This year's book, Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier, by Ishmael Beah will be mailed to you in May.
