As you enter this period of tremendous change and prepare to join our community, the Office of Orientation and Off-Campus Programs (OOCP) will be with you every step of the way. OOCP is your host for Syracuse Welcome 2008, our award-winning orientation program for new students. It is devoted to helping you make a successful and fulfilling transition to SU.
From the day you are accepted (as a first-year or transfer student) throughout your first year of study, OOCP is your partner in planning for academic excellence, getting acquainted with our environments, and starting your Syracuse University experience with confidence. OOCP provides support in a variety of areas, including networking and social programming, and guidance for getting through those sometimes challenging first few months on campus. Whether you live on campus or off, whether you‘re a first-year or transfer student, OOCP is committed to eliminating the barriers between you and an excellent start to your life at SU. Ask the friendly and knowledgeable OOCP staff any question; they‘ll point you in the right direction every time!
