Nutrition & Allergy Information

Nutrition Services

Syracuse University Food Services employs a registered dietitian to assist in menu development, provide nutritional information to students, and help plan for an individual's special dietary needs, such as food allergies and other food-related concerns.

Confidential nutrition counseling sessions are also available with the nutritionist at Syracuse University Health Services. This service is provided free of charge for students who have paid their health fee. Help is available for students with eating disorders, medical conditions related to diet, vegetarianism, weight management, or those that simply want to improve their eating habits.  If you would like to make an appointment for a confidential counseling session, please call Health Services at (315) 443-9005.

Food Allergies

Syracuse University Food Services is committed to providing the highest quality products and services available. Every attempt is made to meet the needs of students with special dietary requirements. If you have special dietary needs, such as a food allergy, we strongly recommend you contact Food Services Registered Dietician as early as possible (ideally, prior to your arrival on campus) so that they may prepare to meet your dietary needs.
