On-Campus Dining Options

Where to Eat

Students enrolled in meal plans are welcome to dine at any of the five residential dining centers on campus. Meals in these facilities are served cafeteria-style, with unlimited seconds. Choose from a variety of items from the salad bar, deli, grill, and specialty bars, which feature frozen yogurts, desserts, fresh fruit, and a wide selection of beverages. In addition, special dinners, floor dinners, study breaks, and other themed events take place in the residential dining centers throughout the academic year.
 

Schine and Goldstein Student Centers

SU Food Services operates Schine Dining in the Hildegarde and J. Myer Schine Student Center and Goldstein Dining in the Ann and Alfred Goldstein Student Center. Both offer a wide selection of name-brand foods and beverages, as well as deli items, grill specialties, salads, and desserts. Students have the option of taking their selections to-go or enjoying their meals in the comfort of the spacious dining room. Cash and SUpercard FOOD are accepted.

FoodWorks and FWII

These convenient on-campus grocery stores and snack areas have something for everyone. They feature a full line of wholesome foods, including fresh produce, dairy and bakery products, frozen foods, and snack foods. Located in the Menschel Media Center, FoodWorks accepts cash, SUpercard FOOD, and VISA or MasterCard. To expand the services provided by FoodWorks, SU Food Services opened FWII in DellPlain Hall. Like FoodWorks, FWII offers popular grocery store items in a convenient location. It accepts cash and SUpercard FOOD.

Campus Cafes

There are currently 12 cafes conveniently located across campus. Four are associated with dining centers and/or residence halls. The rest are located at the College of Law, SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, the Warehouse (located in downtown Syracuse), Huntington Hall, the S.I. New house School of Public Communications, Huntington Beard Crouse (HBC) Hall, the Martin J. Whitman School of Management, Eggers Hall and Bird Library.

Menus include sandwiches, soups, salads, hot and cold beverages, candy, cookies, fast food and snack food. Hours vary by location. Cash and SUpercard FOOD are accepted to all locations.

Vending

The SU I.D. card can be used in campus vending machines. The S.U. Vending Service operates more than 280 beverage, snack and service machines that accept cash or a Supercard Food Card. Machines are located in all Residence Halls, most academic buildings and throughout the SU and ESF campuses. Services are available 24 hours a day in Residence Halls and during regular business hours in all other buildings.

Food Court at Kimmel Hall

The Food Court at Kimmel features several national franchises, including Burger Kin, Dunkin' Donuts, Haagen Dazs, KFC, Sbarro, and Taco Bell. It also has Stirrific Mongolian Grill, where you can ejoy made-to-order stir-fry dishes, Taste Buds Deli, which offers soups and sandwiches and The Marketplace, a great stop for grab-n-go goodies. Cash and SUpercard FOOD are accepted.
