New Student Move-In

FOR NEW FIRST-YEAR & TRANSFER STUDENTS LIVING IN RESIDENCE HALLS ONLY

New Student Arrival and Parking Pass Update as of August 8, 2018

  • All new, incoming first-year students living on North Campus, compliant with immunization requirements, should have received their parking and arrival pass as of August 5, 2018.
  • Transfer students living on South Campus do not need an arrival pass and can move-in August 22 or 23. Please visit the Office of Housing, Meal Plan, and ID Card Services website for details.
  • International students should arrive on August 17 or 18 for International Student Orientation and do not need an arrival and parking pass.
  • Students who have not submitted immunization paperwork will not be issued a pass until they are compliant. Students will be issued an arrival pass 3-5 days after immunization paperwork has been received and approved.
  • If you have not received an arrival pass, please check your spam or junk mail folder. The pass was sent from the Office of First-Year and Transfer Programs (newtosu@syr.edu) in either an email or as a pdf attachment to an email.
  • The Office of First-Year and Transfer Programs is no longer accepting arrival pass change requests except for extenuating circumstances.
