Fraternity and Sorority Affairs is part of the Office of Student Life in the Division of Student Affairs. We are committed to working with students through their fraternity and sorority experience to build a community where students can have a positive collegiate experience. We believe that the leadership opportunities provided by membership in a fraternity or sorority are endless and will be an outstanding part of a students life during their time here at the ‘Cuse!
The fraternity and sorority Community is comprised of five governing councils, the Interfraternity Council, the Panhellenic Association, the National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc., the Latino Greek Council, and the Multicultural Greek Council. The community was founded at Syracuse University in 1871. The student members of the fraternity and sorority community value Leadership, Service, Philanthropy, Brotherhood, Sisterhood, Accountability, and Scholarship in Action.
