The Army Reserve Office Training Corps and Syracuse University have been producing the nation's quality leaders since 1918. This proud tradition continues today as more than 100 cadets pursue a commission in the United States Army while earning their degrees here at Syracuse. As a cadet you will engage in the mental and physical challenges of ROTC in addition to your academics.
Through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC), you can earn a commission in the U.S. Air Force while you complete your SU degree. You may also be eligible for one of several types of AFROTC college scholarships. Your AFROTC leadership and management experience, coupled with your SU degree, prepare you to become an Air Force officer, a leadership position with a high level of responsibility, accountability, professionalism, and respect.
