Be social, go out of your comfort zone. Talk to your professors. Be open minded, check e-mails and remind yourself that things take time.

What advice would you give to incoming transfer students?
Be kind to yourself. It’s easy to be hard on yourself when you are new to a school and have to figure out everything. Be kind, be patient, and good things will come your way.

What do you enjoy most about Syracuse University?
The people! Everyone is nice and interested in making the world a better place for students and the world. Also the students are not shy at all about their love for ‘Cuse!

What advice would you give to incoming transfer students?
Get involved as much as possible and don’t be afraid to try things outside of your comfort zone. Try to go to as many events as possible, whether it be orientation events, games, or Orange After Dark – you’ll meet a lot of people that way.

What do you enjoy most about Syracuse University?
There’s a place for everyone here. No matter what your interests are, there are ways to make your voice heard and people who share your interests.

Running Club, Hill Communications, and Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA)

What advice would you give to incoming transfer students?
Be brave, take risks, and get involved! It is so easy to stay under the radar and just slide by unseen, but you won’t receive the college experience you deserve!

What do you enjoy most about Syracuse University?
The spirit! I’ve never met a student body that is so proud to be Orange. It makes you feel like you are home every time you step on campus. Also, I am still in awe at how passionate my professors are about teaching.
