The Goon Squad has been a tradition at Syracuse University since the 1940’s and a vital part of welcoming our new students into the Orange Family. We hope you’ll consider becoming a part of this important tradition.

Volunteers are needed to greet new students and their families during move-in, decorate the campus, and assist with a variety of social events. Over 3,500 students are expected to arrive in August and your volunteer efforts will ensure they begin their SU experience on the right foot. We welcome all SU faculty, staff, alumni and friends to volunteer, so please feel free to spread the word!
